Steelcase Buys Naming Rights To Wind Farm
From my perspective, it seems that most people in the green movement want to use the force of government in order to advance their agenda. Being more of a libertarian sort, I would rather find economic stimuli in a different way. This is one of the ways I can see making the green movement profitable: sell advertising. Right now, many wind farms and solar installations are only affordable if there are tax breaks and subsidies. This tilts the balance of power to whomever can convince the right politician to advance their scheme. While this is merely replacing the politician with a corporate executive, you have a choice in whether you patronize that executive’s company. You have no choice in paying your taxes. This is a win-win situation for the consumer, the tax payer, and the environment.
