A car that could save the planet—fast
This will change a lot of people’s perceptions of electric cars. Electric cars may yet become sexy.

So how do you build the EV of the future on a six-figure budget when GM couldn’t do it with more than $1 billion? For starters, you get all the basic parts off the shelf. By itself, all the hardware in the X1 is nothing new. The X1’s real secret is how Wright engineers it all to keep the car in optimum race mode whenever you hit the accelerator.

I looove this car! First, it’s hot. Anyone who loves a sports car loves this. Also, it’ll be an environmentally-friendly way to coddle ourselves during midlife crises.
Second, it’s speedy. I love fast cars, as do many people, and it’s great to know that we don’t have to sacrifice speed for the environment. Plus, it’s not horrifically expensive to start out with, so chances are, the price will come down if the car takes off. Nice. Although it’s way out of my price range, I’m pushing the idea on my father and mother. We’ll see if they cave. Haha.
And, I’m not sure if you’re aware, there is a new electric limo/SUV concept in Japan. It’s called Eliica and it’s pretty cool as well. It goes fast, fast, fast! (400 kph!) and will hold up to 8 people (I think). So that will be a nice solution for people who want more than a tiny sports car.
Anyway, I love the blog! (I have you blogrolled.) Look forward to reading more.
